Extension Sleeves

Two precision machined extensions increase the height
adjustment range. The 5 inch and 8 inch extensions are easily
added to
any of the AKP products without tools. They add greater flexibility
in adjusting the height — particularly for those wanting
a standing solution.
This OP20 (pictured to the left) has a five and eight inch extension sleeve attached. The height adjustment range is 34.5 inches to 44.5 inches
The extension sleeves can also be used with OP10, Shorty or SideKick.

The AKP alone adjusts from 21 1/2 to 31 1/2 inches.
Adding the five inch extension adjusts from 26 1/2 to 36 1/2 inches.
Adding the eight inch extension adjusts from 29 1/2 to 39 1/2 inches.
The attachments can be used together in any combination to accommodate
the very tall. For example, using two eight inch attachments, the
AKP adjusts from 37 1/2 to 47 1/2 inches. The extension is an extension
of the cylinder and is meant to be used as an everyday option. The
tight fit between the extension and the cylinder provides stability
at any height. Because of this tight fit be sure you will use it on a permanent basis.

At Trade Shows: Recently a software company purchased an AKP
with two eight inch attachments.
In Classrooms: A college professor uses an AKP with two attachments
in his classroom. He uses a wireless keyboard and mouse and wanted
to use it from the back of the classroom so he did not have to
turn his back to the class. Now he can roll it anywhere in the
room.
For Presentations: Several companies have purchased an AKP with
attachments for presentations given to their employees and clients.
Now they do not have to continuously bend over to access the
keyboard or laptop, while turning their back to the audience.
In Computer Rooms: Network analysts are often restricted because
rack mounted accessories can be restrictive, or awkwardly positioned.
Too often they cannot accommodate a keyboard and mouse or laptop.
Now the AKP can be rolled anywhere in the lab/room.
Airport Control Tower: One airport control tower has the AKP
