I bought your AKP shorty as a gift for my mother.   She has a small home office area; she was using her desk as a work station, which experience always proves is an uncomfortable arrangement - the height is wrong.   When she voiced her plan to get a wireless keyboard and sit it on her lap, unbeknownst to her, I began looking for alternatives.  I stumbled upon your invention.  Wanted to tell you that Mom loves it.  She now works happily at her desk.  She can swivel it out of her way and she told me that now she can sit fully back in her chair and work comfortably.  She's also thrilled that the mahogany shade matches her room decor.

This is absolutely awesome!  I have been thinking about my dilema all wrong all this time.   I have been saving for a $3995 ( http://www.martinandziegler.com/Pages/Ergo_Duet_Height_Adjust_Desk/Ergo_Duet_Height_Adjust_Desk.htm )  table that has a motor that rises... I am a video editor.   All of my monitors tilt up providing adequate angle for viewing.   I even have a $300 ergonomic keyboard stand for when sitting, which is great, but after 6 hours I have to stand the OfficePro/20 is perfect!!!  

For additional marketing possibilities I suggest that you add video editing, adjustable desk, motorized desk to any search queries and explain this as a very cool alternative to the expense of an ergonomically adjusted desk.

I've had one of your tables for a year and use it at work all the time. I use it in combination with a Contour RollerMouse Pro "mouse," in fact, I purchased it so that I could use the RollerMouse, which won't work with a conventinal keyboard tray. I had developed Carpal Tunnel and also had an impingement in my right shoulder that finally required surgery so I needed to get a different kind of mousing setup. Your table combined with the RollerMouse have been a big help to me. I had to buy it myself, but it was worth the price.

I had originally decided to order the side kick with the intent of mounting it in the center, and simply using the extra real estate for my mouse. I tried your OfficePro/10 top, and I love it!

You have certainly been doing your home work. I do not see how your new standard top can be improved, short of some sort of levitation. The new top fits nicely in my lap. There is plenty of real estate.

I figure that all feedback is good, and positive feedback is great. As an owner of three keyboard podiums, hopefully my feedback is useful.

I would like to give you some peripheral information regarding my experience with your product:

I use all of my keyboard podiums with the Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical keyboard and mouse. Your product absolutely comes into its own with this equipment.

An extra benefit is that, once you get rid of the cord, the Logitech mouse becomes the most sensitive, lightest physical input, pointing device I have ever used. I have tried them all. It is rarely necessary to move your hand. I do most manipulation with my thumb and index finger only.  

I am sure that none of this is lost on you. From a marketing point of view, you probably don't want to associate your product with a $75.00 - $100.00 add on. Still, once you get into mass production (I'm sure you will!), you might want to think of associating the two products.

Well, I've probably written too long. I could never have conceived of, and engineered, your product, let alone marketed it. I make my comments as a satisfied customer for what they are worth.

I am very happy with current laptop stand. I think it's a left-hand shorty (mouse extension is on L, pedestal is to R of center). Maple top. I want to order opposite of it for the other room. I use an IBM X41 tablet pc on the stand.  I'll be in touch to finalize the order, maybe tomorrow during lunch or next week this time. 

Just ordered another shorty, Right-handed mirror of last one. Maple matches the maple cabinets in the exam rooms.  To stand and use laptop, I found the 8" extension worked best. I want to promote the product (the stand that is) as part of the whole wireless functionality of medical electronic charting. The first shorty has been really great, and patients like how I'm still able to make visual contact as well as allow them to see what I'm doing.

I received my office pro 10 and just love it.  I do medical transcription and type 8 hours a day.  I am also quite tall (about 5 ' 10") and the office desks just do not accomodate my height comfortably at all.  I am so comfortable at my office pro 10.  I bought an extension so that I can occasionally stand up and type just to change my position.  It is truly a godsend and I am extremely happy with it.  Thank you for making a great product. I've been working with my unit most of the past evening and this morning.

It is great. I see what you mean about the extension sleeves seating themselves in a permanent state. :-) So far I've been using my unit while standing. Keyboard and mouse on the unit, laptop on the workstation in front of me. Also being able to rest a foot on top of the star base, really helps the body with fatigue form standing for long periods of time.

 Thanks so much. Fits in the knee hole too!  It makes using my laptop so much easier... and when the kids want to hook the laptop up to the TV to watch a DVD, they just roll it over there and plug it in.  Just what I needed. 

And since I've had a chance to use my first AKP for a few weeks, I've come to appreciate it even more.  I really like being able to sit farther away from the computer screen, and being able to move the keyboard height up and down easily.
